Interviews with the stars of Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day

Updated: Mar 18, 2020

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day 2017

Another Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day is on the books and we talked with all the big stars performing there. Check out some of the cool interviews!

Why Don’t We?:

Why Don’t We is a pop music boy band consisting of five guys we’ve followed for years. So, when we had the chance to chat with them all together at Artur Ashe Kids Day, we were thrilled! Consisting of members Jonah Marais (check out our old interview and challenge video with Jonah), Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery and Zach Herron, WDW’s popularity is souring. Enjoy the interview and make sure you check out their new music!

Skylar Stecker:

Skylar Stecker is a singer and songwriter that has been gaining popularity with her original pop tunes and energetic dance moves. After seeing Stecker perform at Show of the Summer just a week ago, we were able to sit down with this talented young girl and discuss her music, collabs, touring and much more!

Alex Aiono:

Alex Aiono has been making music for years. We first saw him as an opening act several years back and are impressed to see his maturity in his music and performance. He plays many instruments, writes music and has great vocals. Check out our interview with him as he co-hosted this years Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day alongside Sofia Carson and performed a set on the main stage of the event also.

Spencer Sutherland:

Spencer Sutherland is beyond talented. We’ve chatted with him in the past and have always been impressed with his voice and music. Enjoying one of the greatest years of his career, this twenty-five-year-old performer has a lot to offer his fans including new music. Our only disappointment from meeting up with Sutherland this time is that he wasn’t performing on the main stage at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day. We hope to see this extremely talented guy there next year. Enjoy the interview! Don’t forget to subscribe.

Aja9:

We got to check in with teenage pop singer Aja9 at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day this year. Being young doesn’t hold this kid back, as she juggles music (her own and covers) touring (she is currently opening for Alex Aiono), and school. Check out our interview with this up-and-coming musician who is passionate about music.

Saving Forever:

We had never met Saving Forever before, but are thankful that Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day put them in the lineup, because now we know to keep an eye on this trio (and their kick-ass drummer). Consisting of Khaden, Kye and Kavah Harris, who call themselves a band of brothers, because they are, all three boys from Chicago play guitar, sing and write their own music. Their AAKD set was awesome and we know you’ll love getting to know them in our interview! Check it out!

Sofia Carson:

Actress, singer and songwriter Sofia Carson wore several hats at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day this year. Carson made a perfect co-host alongside Alex Aiono, as well as put on a fun set for the crowd of adoring fans. Best know for her role as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen in Disney’s hit made for TV movies Descendants and Descendants 2, Carson recently released her new single “Ins and Outs.”

Sky Katz:

You might remember Sky Katz from America’s Got Talent a few years back or even from her current role on the Disney Channel’s Raven’s Home alongside Raven-Symoné. Either way, this young rapper and actress has a lot going on right now, and impressively she is truly keeping it together. Check out our interview with Katz. We truly think she’s got something special.
