Wilt – The Wiltern – Los Angeles, CA – September 23, 2026

Los Angeles alt-rock band Wilt took to The Wiltern’s stage in front of a roaring, enthusiastic crowd – providing a surge of energy that left fans with no choice but to cheer at the top of their lungs.

Supporting alt-rock and nu-metal artist Jutes on his tour, Smile You’re On Tour, it was evident that Wilt has caught the eye of many people who have recognized the band’s talent and modern take on grunge.

Wilt formed in 2022 when lead vocalist Chelsea Rifkin and guitarist/producer Aaron Liebman started writing music together, after Rifkin had a whirlwind college experience and then lost her father. As the duo steadily created music together, they added drummer Dan Bermudez and guitarist Andrew Perrea to become a fresh four-piece group.

They experimented on their sound, shifting away from the bedroom pop that Rifkin had focused on and moving towards 90s-inspired grunge, which was highlighted in their debut single “Gwen.” They further honed their alt-rock style with their self-titled EP in 2024, as they started to gain viral traction with sultry rock hits like “Bite My Tongue” and energetic alt-pop songs like “You’re the One to Blame.”

Most recently, they released their highly anticipated debut album, When No One’s Watching, on October 2nd, which cemented their skilled ability to combine relatable, vulnerable lyrics with gritty and hard-hitting instrumentals. Standout songs like “Bundy” and “Nothing Good to Cry About” are vibrant and anthemic yet still offer a very honest look into how they have felt about newfound success.

This evolved tone was fully on display at the concert – within their music as well as in their stage presence – with Rifkin doing her signature hair flips while delivering powerhouse vocals and every band member having a moment to interact with the crowd and shine. The fun they were having was palpable and exemplified how great they are as a live act.
