Rutherford Falls Visits the Autry Museum

In celebration of Native American storytelling, the cast of Peacock's Rutherford Falls gathered on Saturday at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park, Los Angeles.

Attendees included two of the creators, Sierra Teller Ornelas and Ed Helms. Helms also plays a main character in the show, Nathan Rutherford, who is attempting to preserve his family and town's traditional history. He and his best friend Reagan Wells, played by Jana Schmieding, find themselves facing major revelations in regard to the Native tribe that lived there prior to the white settlement of the Rutherfords.

More of the cast making an appearance included Jessie Leigh, Dustin Milligan, and Kimberly Guerrero.

Joe D. Horse Capture, Vice President of Native Collections and Curator of Native American History and Culture at the Autry, joined the cast. Also in attendance was Dean Beresford, a sponsor of the Native Voices equity theatre company at the Autry Museum.

Check out Rutherford Falls now on Peacock TV and visit the Autry Museum's When I Remember I See Red: American Indian Art and Activism in California exhibit, now through November 14!
