Rolling Quartz – Karma DC – Washington, DC – April 8, 2025
Korean rock band Rolling Quartz started making music together in 2019 after the merging of two separate bands named “Rolling Girlz” and “Rose Quartz.” Consisting of five members, Hyun Jung (guitar), Yeong Eun (drums), Ja Young (vocals), Iree (guitar), and Arem (bass), the all-female group has been gaining traction and popularity across the globe, and last night we had the chance to check them out in Washington, DC when they hit the stage for a high energy, entertaining set.

Diadems (what they call their loyal fanbase) poured into Karma DC with excitement and anticipation of seeing the group of five rock the night away, and they were not disappointed. Performing many fan favorites like “Blaze,” “Fearless,” “RE.BOLD” and “Delight,” the group also performed some awesome covers including Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and My Chemical Romance’s 2005 hit song “Helena.”

A fresh change from the average rock band, each member successfully showcased their talents and nailed their vocals, rocked their solo performances and poured endless excitement into each and every song. Their fans rocked and danced throughout the night and Rolling Quartz definitely fed off the energy.
Their North American Stand-Up Tour runs til late May, and if they’re coming to a town near you, we definitely recommend checking them out!
