Luminescence – Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul – Philadelphia, PA – June 12, 2026

Are you looking for a unique evening of breathtaking beauty and joy? Luminescence by Fever takes one of Philadelphia’s most beloved landmarks and brings it to life with a 360-degree magical, immersive light show accompanied by classical music.

The historic Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul has sat proudly at the corner of Race and the Parkway in center city Philadelphia since 1864. It’s architecture is already magnificent, but when you attend Luminescence, you will watch the grand structure transform before your eyes in color and story.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, projection mapping changes every inch of Cathedral again and again, from the massive columns, to the walls, arches ceiling, and huge central dome. It is a visual experience you don’t want to miss, as a narrator takes you on a journey through Philadelphia history.

The choir and orchestra were beautiful and personally for me, I could have watched the lights and listened to them play and sing for hours. We attended on a Friday evening and experienced live music ($49 and up) which was beautiful. On some evenings, they use recorded music ($39 and up), but we were thrilled to experience it live.
