Dream, Ivory – El Cid – Los Angeles (A PopEntertainment.com Concert Review)

Dream, Ivory – El Cid – Los Angeles, CA – March 8, 2023

Transcending genres, Dream, Ivory took the stage at El Cid on March 8th in front of a passionate crowd to kick off their first stop on the About a Boy tour — in none other than the area where they grew up: Southern California.

Composed of brothers Christian and Louie Baello, the band first gained notoriety through their self-titled EP, “Dream, Ivory” in 2016. Their debut full-length album released in 2022, About a Boy, pushes the boundaries of the duo’s musicality while maintaining sincerity in their introspection.

The band showcased just how expansive their sound was: from performing their 2018 indie rock hit “welcome and goodbye” to the 80s synths/pop-punk triumph “Wake Up” from their latest album. They put on an enthusiastic performance for their dedicated fans that certainly made their hometown proud.
