Dan + Shay, Tyler Hubbard & Josh Ross – Highmark Mann – Philadelphia (A PopEntertainment.com Concert Review)

Dan + Shay, Tyler Hubbard & Josh Ross – Highmark Mann – Philadelphia, PA – October 10, 2026
Following the release of their seventh studio album, Young, country duo Dan + Shay performed on the tenth of October at the TD Pavilion Highmark Mann Center in Philadelphia. “The Young Tour” kicked off in Noblesville, Indiana on the eleventh of September, which they are taking across North America with opening acts, Josh Ross and Tyler Hubbard.
As the lights began to dim, opening act Josh Ross took the stage to start the show. His presence brought a light to the venue and got the crowd moving. He sang hits like “Leave Me Too,” “Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na),” and “Single Again,” creating an energetic environment for the whole pavilion.
With the energy coming off of a high from Josh Ross’ showstopping performance, opener, Tyler Hubbard, took the stage for his set. He sang some of his most popular hits like “Meant to Be” and “5 Foot 9,” as well as a new unreleased single, “Playin’ it Cool.” Hubbard also teased a possible reunion of his iconic duo Florida Georgia Line (there will apparently be a 12-city reunion tour next year), by singing a medley of their most popular songs. These songs include “This Is How We Roll,” “Round Here,” and “Cruise,” leaving the crowd filled with excitement before the main act.

Kicking off the headlining set, Dan + Shay began the night with some of their most popular songs, “Speechless” and “All To Myself” from their self-titled album, Dan + Shay. The duo continued to energize the crowd throughout the night by engaging with the fans and dancing across the stage. They also sang hits from their fourth studio album, Good Things, like “Glad You Exist,” “You,” and the title track, “Good Things.”
With energy high, the country duo came off the stage to walk around through the crowd to interact more deeply with the fans. They took pictures, gave high fives, and even had some audience members sing a song, like Ella Langley’s No. 1 hit single “Choosin’ Texas.” Once they completed the loop around, Dan + Shay got back on stage to sing the rest of their set.
During the song, “Dogs In Our Twenties,” Dan + Shay displayed a slideshow of audience members' dogs that they had submitted beforehand. The slideshow of the dogs lasted the entire song, which included Dan Smyers’ own four dogs. Another moment that touched the crowd during the song “Say So,” written about the duo’s close friend who passed away, was holding up their phone flashlights to sing a final acoustic chorus of the ballad.

To close out a truly unforgettable night, the two sang a show stopping encore, including “Bigger Houses,” “10,000 Hours,” and “Tequila.” The crowd was loud and singing every word keeping spirits high. The environment was fantastic and light-hearted with occasional funny moments between the audience and the duo. The crowd was kept on their feet with show stopping vocals and elaborate visuals to match each song perfectly.
What stood out most from their performance were the incredible vocals from Dan + Shay’s own Shay Mooney. After the first few songs, Mooney communicated with the crowd that he had been on vocal rest since after their show the night before in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Even with losing his voice, Mooney was able to put on an unbelievable performance that connected the audience throughout the show. He showed great versatility with his vocals to achieve clear belts and riffs with the music. I am very grateful and appreciative to have attended their show this past night as they have been a favorite of mine.
