The other night, English singer, songwriter, and actor Ben Barnes hit the stage at Philadelphia’s Theater of the Living Arts, in support of his debut album Where The Light Gets In. You may known him as Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia film series, or as Logan in Westworld, but you should also know… he can sing!

Influenced by numerous genres from 70s rock, Motown, and musical legends like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Queen, Ben’s love for music began in childhood. While his acting career flourished, Ben continued songwriting, eventually embracing music fully during the pandemic when his singing videos gained viral attention.

Backed by an amazing band, Barnes’ high energy set included music from his new album including “Take Me to the Moon,” as well as several songs from his 2021 EP Songs for You like “Pirate Song.” Other highlights from the night were a beautiful duet of “One Minute More” and a great cover of Ray Charles’ “Hallelujah, I Love Her So.”

While Barnes’ US leg of the tour is coming to an end soon, he will be performing in the UK and Europe starting next month. Check him out for a great night!
