Barenaked Ladies & Five For Fighting – The Met – Philadelphia(A PopEntertainment.com Concert Review)

Barenaked Ladies, Five For Fighting & Del Amitri – The Met – Philadelphia, PA – July 19, 2023

The “Last Summer on Earth" hit Philly yesterday, and the fans at The Met were not all that upset about the promise of end times. In fact, they were excited and lively, waiting for Del Amitri, Five for Fighting, and Barenaked Ladies to come together for a concert of pure nostalgia and excitement. First was Del Amitri, the Scottish rock band who made their mark back in the day. Their popular songs, like "Roll to Me" and "Always the Last to Know," had everyone touched and clapping along. It was a heartfelt start to a great night.

Then, Five for Fighting took over, led by the talented singer-songwriter John Ondrasik. His emotional lyrics and incredible performances had the crowd hanging on every word. We all sang along to hits like "Superman (It's Not Easy)" and "100 Years," with emotions flowing freely. Finally, Barenaked Ladies hit the stage, and they brought the house down with their boundless energy and quirky humor. Everyone was grooving and laughing to classics like "One Week" and "If I Had $1,000,000." The whole atmosphere was just a big, joyful party!

"The Last Summer on Earth" tour really lived up to its name – it felt like a celebration of life, music, and the fleeting moments we cherish. The bands' timeless hits united us all, making it an unforgettable night filled with camaraderie and happiness. Memories were made, and hearts were touched – truly an experience worth holding onto!
