Lewis Capaldi & Em Beihold – Aragon Ballroom – Chicago (A PopEntertainment.com Concert Review)

Lewis Capaldi & Em Beihold – Aragon Ballroom – Chicago, IL – April 19, 2023

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi performed to a sold-out crowd in Chicago, IL this past Wednesday night. Fans were lined up an hour before the doors opened, hoping to get to the rail to see their favorite artist that night.

Em Beihold was the opener for Capaldi on this tour and did not disappoint! Getting the crowd even more excited she performed some of her hit songs like, “Numb Little Bug,” “Too Precious,” and even one she sang on with Stephen Sanchez, “Until I Found You.”

Now the scene is set for Capaldi. Fans were holding up their signs and some even made shirts for him. The band walks on first, starting to play the beginning to “Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent.” The lights are flashing, the screen with Capaldi’s name big for everyone to see, and out walks the man of the hour. Fans are screaming and already singing along as Capaldi takes the stage for a memorable night.

Capaldi performs songs like “Before You Go” and “Bruises” which left the crowd in tears and awe from the singer’s vocals. He also sang his brand-new song “Wish You the Best,” which got the fans even more ecstatic.

Throughout the night, fans continued to take in all the moments Capaldi left by throwing their hands up, dancing around with their friends – maybe even strangers. It didn’t matter because of the music that brought them together. Capaldi ended the night with his most popular song “Someone You Loved.” Fans who attended the show will always remember the night filled with jokes, music, and love.

While the US leg of his world tour runs through May 11th, it continues internationally through September, so do try and check out Lewis Capaldi in person this year!
